Market Overview
- Nifty50 recovered from Day’s low in today session. Broader indices including Nifty Midcap100 and Nifty Smallcap100 ended down by -0.69% and -1.12% respectively.
- India VIX fell by 13.87% by 0.32 points to close at 13.87;
- Total Equities traded value rose to Rs. 40,658.83 vs Rs. 39,691.23 crore in last session. This shows cash volumes are drying up and more positions are added into derivatives positions.
- Derivative to Cash Ratio stood at 3.35 indicating higher amount of trades taken in derivatives (including Options and Futures) as against cash market.
